More than one map in an article

[edit]

An editor added a map to the N1 (South Africa) article, meaning that there is the map in the Infobox and an additional map just after the Infobox. Now, is it necessary to have "more than one map" in an article like this, considering that the two maps are basically showing the same thing? @GeographicAccountant: I would say that the interactive map is the better option, and that should be moved into the infobox in place of the static map. That said, the highlighted line in the interactive map should be more pronounced. On most maps, that line would be red, for instance. Imzadi 1979  01:56, 11 September 2024 (UTC)[reply]

In August of this year, I updated the link to the Roadgeeks font website from http://www.triskele.com/roadgeek-fonts to https://www.n1en.org/roadgeek-fonts/ since the former is now unaviailable. My edit was reverted by @Frost 5 days later. I am quite puzzled by this and would like to know the reason. 116.220.127.216 (talk) 08:30, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]

As the website is 100% clear that the fonts are for hobbyist use, not for commercial use, and will not be released open source, then they should a) not be used to produce road signs and b) should not be linked to from the documentation page. 10mmsocket (talk) 09:36, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
Ohhhh I see. 116.220.127.216 (talk) 10:25, 22 October 2024 (UTC)[reply]
